  • It can take me up to a week to reply to emails.

    PLEASE CHECK YOUR SPAM FOLDER.

If it’s been over a week and you really think your form didn’t go through, you can email me directly at Lisa.hauntedhands@gmail.com

  • I have a full inventory of unisex shirts, ladies tanks, and art prints for sale at Haunted Hands.

We don’t have regular hours, but the shop is open to the public every First Friday from 12-7pm for walk-ins and shopping.

I try to be there every time but can’t guarantee it. You can check the First Friday Flash page on the Haunted Hands website to see if I’ll be at the next event.

  • Rest assured it’s nothing personal! Sometimes I get a lot of inquiries for the same design.

If you skipped some reading, didn’t provide sufficient information/follow instructions on your form, or applied too late, this is likely why someone else was selected.

If you did everything right and submitted your form on the same day as the release before midnight, that means I had multiple good candidates for that design and it was really hard for me to choose someone. It could be that someone else was willing to to go bigger on the design, had room for it in a better location, requested fewer changes, etc. Sometimes it just comes down to who sounded the most excited, who the design had more significance for, or who has submitted for designs in the past and hasn’t been selected yet.

  • I release new designs quarterly, at 10am on March 1st, June 1st, September 1st, and December 1st. Check the top of the one-off designs page for updates.

  • Tattoos blur and fade over time. How quickly this happens can depend on your skin type as well as how much sun exposure you get on that area, but it’s inevitable for everyone. Those crispy lines won’t stay that crispy forever. That’s why when a tattoo design has a lot of detail (which mine usually do), the tattoo needs to be big enough to still look good even after this happens. It’s my job to make sure you don’t end up with a crappy tattoo that used to look good 10 years ago.

  • Excellent question. Click here.

  • I’m really enjoying creating predawn designs, so if that keeps me as busy as I’d like to be, I may not return to doing custom work.

Some of the other artists at my shop are available for custom work. Go to hauntedhands.com and follow us @hauntedhandsstudio

  • At this point I could fill my entire schedule by making exceptions for all my loyal clients, so I simply can’t. I profoundly appreciate all the love and support I have had over the years, so please believe me when I tell you that saying “no” to a loyal client is not an easy thing for me to do.

  • Small changes may be considered, however, priority on available designs goes to those who do not want any changes.

Large modifications (such as adding/changing a major element or rearranging the composition) tend to cross the line into custom work, which I am not offering, so likely those will not be doable.

  • I am not offering custom work to do this, but you are welcome to select multiple pre-drawn designs to cover more space. You may also use any of the available “Filler” designs to fill in an odd empty space.

  • Unfortunately I am not accepting any custom work at this time, even if we talked about the possibility of adding on to the custom piece I did for you a while back. You are welcome to look at my one-off designs and be sure to mention that I’ve worked with you before when submitting a form. I may occasionally have some “filler” designs/patterns available that can be modified and used to frame a tattoo I did on you, or fill gaps.

  • Absolutely! I highly recommend checking out the other artists at my shop, Haunted Hands, here in Tucson AZ. I have a handful of talented resident artists there who may have more availability than me, as well as a revolving door of guest artists. Follow us @hauntedhandsstudio to get the latest info and updates, or stop by on a First Friday when we are open to the public for walk-in flash tattoos and shopping.

I also recommend checking out our wonderful neighbors at La Querida Tattoo, as well as the great folks over at Tattoo Artistry.

  • It depends. I’m usually there on First Fridays, but I may not always be taking walk-ins. Your best bet is to contact me directly to find out.
