Here’s how it works

  • I‘ll need a good reference photo to work from. A good photo has an appealing balance of highlights and shadows, it’s in focus, you can see the whole saguaro, and it’s up close enough to see the details. Refer to the examples shown below.

  • You’ll need to have enough space on your body for it. It’s best if we can make the tattoo big enough to capture all the details that make each saguaro unique. Bigger is better, but it’ll need to be at least 7” tall (depending on the size and complexity of the saguaro).

  • You may request to add a small amount of additional detail, background, or framing; but the saguaro must be the star or the show. Refer to the gallery above for examples.

  • BLACK & GRAY ONLY. A small amount of solid/ombre color may requested as a background element if desired.

  • No coverups

  • My rate for saguaro tattoos is $250/hr.

    For reference, a super basic saguaro at 7” tall might take roughly 1.5 hours. A ½ sleeve with a 12” tall saguaro with a background and framing elements could take roughly 10 hours.

    Payments are due at the end of each session. (Sessions are usually between 2.5-4 hours of actual tattoo time.)

  • Depending on the size of the project, you may need more than one appointment. First appointment must be booked within 3 months of receipt of deposit, and tattoo must be completed within 6 months. (Sessions are usually 2.5-5 hours long, and scheduled 3-4 weeks apart.)

    Appointments may be scheduled Monday-Friday, starting anywhere between 10am-2pm. I do not work weekends.

    If you are traveling for your tattoo, 2 sessions may be scheduled in 2 consecutive days.

    You are allowed one free reschedule, multiple reschedules may be subject to an additional fee. A no-call no-show will result in loss of deposit and possible loss of future appointments.

  • A $250 deposit is required to book a tattoo appointment, due at the end of your consultation. The deposit is non-refundable but goes towards the price of the tattoo on your last session.

    YOU CAN LOSE YOUR DEPOSIT IF…

    -You request changes to the design that were not mentioned in your submission form or at your consultation.

    -You are unable to book appointments during my regular scheduling hours (no weekends) or within the initial 3 month timeframe.

    -You are unable to start or finish the tattoo due to pregnancy, moving, financial hardship, or other unforeseen circumstances.

    -You no-call no-show for any of your appointments. (This may also result in loss of ability to book future appointments)
