How it works

Fill out the form below to submit your tattoo idea/suggestion. If I select yours, I will fully complete the design and you will get dibs on the tattoo. I’ll reach out to you and you can claim it with a $250 deposit. If you decide you don’t want to/can’t get it tattooed, that’s ok, it will go into my available designs for someone else to purchase.

This means I will be selecting ideas/suggestions that I think someone else might want if you end up not getting it. Small revisions may be considered, however the design will mostly be available as-is. Check out my current available designs for examples of the style I’m working in. Sonoran Desert flora/fauna is my main focus for subject matter, primarily black & gray or black & gray with a limited color palette. Your suggestion can be simple (a burrowing owl) or complex (a burrowing owl with its head turned to the side, sitting on some rocks with a starry sky background). I may choose to add/subtract embellishments if I feel it’s necessary. If you have a budget, I will let you know if it works with your idea before I start on it. When the design is complete you’ll be given a quote based on my rate of $250/hr.

  • I am currently scheduling appointments on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, starting as early as 10am and as late as 2pm. I do not schedule tattoo appointments on weekends.

    Currently booking 2-4 months out.

    First appointment must be scheduled within 4 months of receipt of your deposit, and the tattoo must be completed within 1 year.

    Sessions are usually 2.5-4 hours of actual tattoo time, plus an hour or so of setup and breakdown. Multiple sessions are scheduled 3-4 weeks apart to allow skin to heal.

    If you are traveling for your tattoo, 2 sessions may be scheduled in two consecutive days.

    You are allowed one free reschedule due to illness. Multiple reschedules may be subject to an additional fee.

  • Deposits are $250 and are due within 1 week of viewing the design. Deposits are non-refundable but go towards the cost of your tattoo, applied to the final session.

    YOU CAN LOSE YOUR DEPOSIT IF:

    • You want to make changes to the design that were not previously discussed.

    • You no-call no-show to your appointment. This may also result in loss of ability to book future appointments.

    • You failed to disclose important relevant information (scheduling conflicts, medical conditions, limited open space on your body, etc) that results in the tattoo not working out for you.

    • You are unable to book appointments during my regular scheduling hours (no weekends) or within the 4 month timeframe.

    • You are unable to start or finish the tattoo due to pregnancy, moving, financial hardship, or other unforeseen circumstances.

  • Consider your skin type when requesting a design. As your tattoo ages, it will fade and blend in with your skin tone. If you have sun-damaged skin, tan easily, or have a dark complexion in the area you want the tattoo, a colorful design may not withstand the test of time. In many cases, a black & white design may be a better choice in the long run.

    I prefer to tattoo arms and legs, sometimes back, shoulders, and chest. Areas like neck, stomach, and ribs are less preferable.
